Meet Gabriel Ruiz, Owner of Royalty Plumbing Inc

Gabriel Ruiz has worked in the plumbing trade for more than 20 years. He founded Royalty Plumbing Inc in 2023 after running two earlier companies, Empire Plumbing and Real Plumberz. Today he serves as the sole owner and qualifying individual on the company’s California CSLB license, personally accountable for every job.

More Than 20 Years in the Trade

Ask around Ontario, CA long enough and someone will mention Gabe. Gabriel Ruiz has spent more than 20 years working in the plumbing trade, starting long before Royalty Plumbing Inc existed as a name on a truck.
Gabe didn’t set out to build three companies. He built one skill set, kept sharpening it, and started over twice when he saw a better way to run the business. His first company was Empire Plumbing. Later came Real Plumberz. In 2023, he brought everything he had learned into Royalty Plumbing Inc, the name he plans to run for the rest of his career.

What Our Customers Say

“Every name change wasn’t me starting over. It was me getting closer to the company I actually wanted to build. Royalty Plumbing Inc is that company.”

The story

Three Names, One Standard

For homeowners meeting Gabe for the first time through Royalty Plumbing Inc, it helps to understand what the earlier names represent. Empire Plumbing and Real Plumberz were not failed attempts. They were chapters in the same career, each one adding tools, relationships, and lessons that show up in how Royalty Plumbing Inc operates today. The company changed its name twice. The person answering the phone, and the standards behind the work, did not.
Accountable

Licensed and Personally Accountable

Gabe is careful with the word expert. Twenty years in the trade taught him that plumbing problems rarely look the same twice, even when the symptoms match. That’s part of why he insists every technician at Royalty Plumbing Inc walk a job in person before quoting it in writing, instead of estimating over the phone alone whenever it can be avoided. It’s a slower way to run a plumbing company. Gabe considers it the only way to run one honestly.
CSLB #1109464 · Class C-36
As the sole owner of Royalty Plumbing Inc, Gabe is also the qualifying individual on the company’s California CSLB license, #1109464, Class C-36. That’s not a title he takes lightly. Under California law, the qualifying individual is the person whose trade experience the license is built on. Gabe is the one legally and personally accountable for the plumbing work the company performs across Eastvale, Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, and Riverside.
How Gabe runs it

How Every Job Works

Gabe’s approach to running a plumbing company is simple, and he says it comes straight from twenty years of watching other companies get it wrong.
“We never quote a job we wouldn’t pay for ourselves. If I wouldn’t sign off on the price and the plan, I’m not sending my team out to do it.” — Gabe
A Written Quote First
That belief is why every Royalty Plumbing Inc job starts with a written quote before any work begins. Homeowners see the full scope in writing, not a verbal estimate that turns into a longer bill once the work is underway. In our experience, that single habit prevents most of the disputes that give the plumbing trade a bad reputation.
A Guarantee That Is Rare
Gabe backs that promise with a guarantee that’s rare in the trade. If a customer isn’t happy and satisfied with the work Royalty Plumbing Inc completes, the company will not charge for it. It’s a policy Gabe has carried since his earliest days running his own crew, long before the current company name existed.
The same standard

The Same Standard on Every Job

Outside of running the day-to-day of Royalty Plumbing Inc, Gabe still treats every service call the same way he did when he was starting out. Show up when you say you will, explain the problem in plain language, and put the price in writing before touching a single pipe. Our team follows that same standard on every job across the Inland Empire, whether it’s a same-day water heater replacement or a full home repipe.
“You can’t build a business on one-time customers. We’ve built ours on the same families calling us back for years, sometimes under three different company names. That only happens if you stand behind your own work.” — Gabe
